The Keslar Home

So, this painting was done as a birthday present for my sister. It is copied from a photo of her home in Clermont, Indiana. It is very picteresque with a large yard and tons of trees. And, since their house was white, I thought to make it pop amongst a background of fall foliage. Notice the little bunny in the front yard - that was a tribute to Letha and Mark's dogs, Berkeley and Kendall, who love to chase and bark at those little furballs!

You have quite a talent. It reminds me of a Midwest version of Vincent van Gogh’s “The Yellow House,” other then your house is white, you’re not crazy, and I believe you have 2 ears. Vinnie never painted bunnies either. Neo-bunnyism? What’s the canvas size? Thanks again for sharing this site with me.
